Ethical Approach

SDR Group is a privately owned housing and social care provider based in East Sussex. Our businesses operate from 13 locations in Sussex and Hampshire and employ 200 staff.

We have a strong ethical approach to both how we deliver our services and how we look after our people. The sectors we work in can involve some of the most vulnerable people in the community and our team are driven by a social purpose to what we do and the positive impact we can have on lives. We work hard to make the jobs of our partner organisations easier and also support local charities who contribute to our sectors.

BackInvestment Strategy

Long Term Value Creation

Investment Strategy:

Since inception in 2018, the Group investment strategy has been to source value in property backed service businesses where our social values can drive reputational and risk advantages. Initially this brought us into Local Authority funded emergency housing [SDR Living] and in 2020 into Adult Specialist Care [SDR Care].

SDR Group is focused on long term value creation and revenue growth and accordingly takes a strategic view to its investments. Business growth continues to be driven both organically and through business acquisitions.

The leadership team have extensive experience in partnerships and joint venture structures which we use to find solutions that can deliver better value for money for customers and de-risk our investments.

The Group is actively seeking new investments in both housing and care sectors.
